Oaxaca

The day after we don't need to talk that much, Jane and I are leaving together to Oaxaca. I change my ticket to stay until the 20th. I was feeling to be at the end of the trip until a few minutes ago, and now all of a sudden I am only in the middle of the trip and I am feeling more and more that I am living the best part. Now I am in confidence with the place, I speak spanish and I have friends which I think I've been always with. All travellers like me, all with the same expectations with a lot of histories to tell about their places but also paying attention to your stories! All special people also becuase they are here with me, travelmates with the same energy. The same energy that so many times has brought people away from me, this time makes people coming towards me!

With Jane and Lucy we get in Oaxaca City at five in the morning, it' s still dark! As soon as the light comes out we go around the town and suddenly we understand to be in a beautiful town! How many colors ... how many colors and how warm it is!

I meet Rino, Lorenzo and Luca. Three italians ... Rino and Lorenzo leave in the morning to Mazunte, Luca stays for other four days. Lorenzo brings me again around the town and shows me the market ... awsome! How many colors, I love colors!

La mattina con Jane l'intesa é immediata! Stasera si parte insieme per Oaxaca. Ho cambiato il biglietto per rimanere sino al venti di gennaio. Mi sentivo alla fine del viaggio sino a poco tempo fa e invece da questo momento non sono che a metà e sempre di più mi sento di vivere la parte più bella. Adesso ho piena confidenza con il posto, parlo in spagnolo con la gente e ho degli amici con cui mi sembra di esser sempre stata. Tutti viaggiatori solitari come me, tutti con le stesse speranze, con tante storie da raccontare sui proprio posti ma anche così attenti alle tue storie! Tutte persone speciali solo per il fatto di essere qui con me, compagni di viaggio con la stessa energia. La stessa energia che così tante volte mi ha allontanato dalla gente, questa volta me l'ha fatta incontrare!

Con Jane e Lucy arriviamo a Oaxaca City alle cinque del mattino, ancora buio pesto! Non appena la luce fa capolino facciamo un giro per la città e subito ci rendiamo conto di essere in una perla di paese! Quanti colori ... quanti colori e che caldo!

Incontro Rino, Lorenzo e Luca. Tre italiani ... Rino e Lorenzo partono la mattina stessa per Mazunte, Luca rimane ancora quattro giorni. Lorenzo mi porta in giro per la città e mi mostra il mercado ... che meraviglia e di nuovo ... quanti colori ... io amo i colori! Nel frattempo c'é una dimostrazione della Appo.

Mexico City

We get in Mexico City late in the afternoon, hungry but also tired to eat only tacos and frijole, not that they are bad !!! Mexico City is such an incredible city, I've never seen so many people in the same time in every single spot of the city! Unbelievable ... the adventure of the day is to take the train with the backpacks and without loosing Kiron! Uauh ... but for sure in this moment of the trip I need something more relaxing! We go the eat a really good falafel in the rose zone of the city ad on the way back to the hostel Kiron meets his friends in the metro ... I don't know if you can imagine how many people use the metro ... no, i think it's unimaginable! The evening turns out really nice, on the roof of the hostel, drinking beer and "watching" the Zócalo, with Martin, Ezequiel and Kiron ... and I decide to stay longer in Mexico!

Arriviamo a Mexico City nel tardo pomeriggio, affamatissimi ma anche un pò stanchi di mangiare tacos e frijole - non che non fossero buonissimi !!! Mexico City é una città incredibile, non ho mai visto così tante persone insieme in tutti i punti della città! Incredibile ... l'avventura del giorno é decisamente quella di prendere la metropolitana con gli zaini e senza perderci con Kiron! Uauh ... ma decisamente in questa parte del viaggio sono alla ricerca di qualcosa di molto più rilassante! Andiamo a mangiare un falafel buonissimo nella zona rosa della città e al ritorno verso l'ostello, incredibile ma in metropolitana incontriamo gli amici di Kiron ... non so se vi potete immaginare la quantità di gente che circola in metropolitana ... no, é inimmaginabile.
La serata é molto carina, sul tetto dell'ostello, bevendo birra alla vista dello Zócalo ... con Martin, Ezequiel e Kiron ... e io decido di rimanere ancora in Messico!
