OlympiaPark

Next to the BMW Welt there is the Olympiapark designed for the XXth Olympic Games in 1972. The park itself was designed by Günther Behnisch and it is really nice to see how this park is still in use and beloved by the local community.

The Olympic Stadium was designed by Frei Otto & Partners and it became really famous for its tent-like roof construction.

Visitors can have a tour of the Olympic Stadium walking on the catwalks of the roof ... nice!

Right now in Germany everything goes around soccer and this is one of the funniest things that we have found out in Munich about the World Cup 2006 ...

And this the view from the top of the Park ... beautifull day and beautifull panoramic view.
In summer it is possible to see even the Alps !

The Allianz Arena is impressive ... a really huge stadium in comparison with the city skyline!
